This week saw the completion of renovations to the squash courts. This work was possible with the assistance of a €4,000 grant from the Cork City Council last year. The works included plastering of Court 2, sanding and relining of both floors and a machine wash of both court walls.  Both courts are now in pristine condition and of an exceptional standard. In order to keep them this way we need to ensure they are treated accordingly.
Please remember, it is the responsibility of all club members using the squash courts that the correct footwear is worn at all times on the courts. It is imperative that non-marking soles are worn at all times in the squash courts. It is also important that the correct rackets and balls are also used on the courts. The head guard on tennis and other rackets are coloured and mark the walls, unlike a squash racket’s clear guard.
