Social Tennis for Members | Fridays @7.15 pm – 9.15pm
Social tennis continues to attract strong numbers. It continues this Friday November 17th from 7.15pm – 9.15pm. There is a €5 entry fee to play, followed by pizza. It is a fantastic opportunity to meet new and existing members. All grades are welcome to attend. Sign Up Here Social Tennis.
American Tournament – Friday December 1st @7.15pm
The first of our American Tournaments ran on Friday November 3rd and was a great success. Only thirty-two players can be accommodated on an individual night – so apologies to those who were disappointed not to get a spot.
Night number two will be run on Friday December 1st.This is open to all grades. There will be three separate competitions within the tournament to cater for all grades. We would encourage more of the higher grades to get involved. There is a €5 entry fee which will include pizza, a complimentary beer, mineral or glass of wine and prizes.

St Michael’s Tennis Club Social Visit to Sunday’s Well

Winter League Phase 1
Phase 1 of the Winter League is well underway and Sunday’s Well has great representation with fifteen teams in the competition. The round robin section of the League is almost complete, with many of our teams already successfully through to the knock-out stages. Be sure to keep an eye on social media for match times and come and support your friends and club teams if possible.
Hard luck to the teams whose campaign has finished – you represented the Club well and hopefully enjoyed the experience.
While we acknowledge the impact these matches are having on court availability, matches are often completed ahead of the allotted times…so it can be possible to get a walk on court on a Sunday, if you are prepared to come down on spec.

Junior Tennis
Munster Cup
The U14 Team are through to the plate finals of the Munster Junior Cup U 14 against Nenagh.The U18 Team are through to the finals of the Munster Junior Cup U18 and playing Ennis. Both matches are taking place next Sunday November 19th, 2023, in Larkspur Tennis Club, Cashel. Congratulations to all those who played on these teams throughout the Tournament and the very best of luck to both teams in your respective finals.
