Communication Update

1. Munster Junior Open
The Munster Junior Open is always a great week in our club. Our juniors performed exceptionally well across all age groups from U8 to U18. I want to thank Tournament Director Marie Duffy, Tournament Referee Ger Flynn, and our many volunteers for their hard work. It was great to see our new junior gear on display. As a reminder, Summer Camps are filling up quickly, and registration for September junior squads is now available online.
2. New Club Gear
A new collection of club clothing for Junior and Senior members is now available from a local provider called Personalise Me. The range includes polo shirts, t-shirts, hoodies, shorts in both white and navy, and a navy half-zip. Samples are available in the main clubhouse for fitting. You can purchase items online or by calling the company directly.
It was a privilege to attend this year’s ladies’ lunch. Thank you for the warm welcome; the event was a wonderful showcase of the friendship and connection within our club.
4. Club Ladder
The new ladder series is now live and runs until August 16th. Thank you to Peter O’Rourke for coordinating this; we encourage everyone to schedule their matches.
Social tennis continues to be a success. Thank you to our volunteers for organising these sessions. Please note we will take a break in August while the new courts are being built. You can sign up for upcoming dates [HERE].
6. Summer Cup
Several teams are currently competing in the Summer Cup. I will provide match schedule updates via WhatsApp and encourage you to come out and support our players.
