On Tuesday December 5th the club will be hosting a drinks and nibbles reception to launch our 125th Anniversary year. The reception is at 7pm and details of the events planned for the year will be shared and the new calendar will be available to purchase.

Table Quiz Acknowledgement
On behalf of Sundays Well Boating & Tennis Club, a Charity Table Quiz event night was held last night in the club. Here’s a brief update on what has been a few very busy weeks at our club…. Munster Vets A big thanks to Stephen McCarthy who delivered yet another successful Vets event. We had 198 participants in 44 events, and there were several Sundays Well winners. Well done to everyone involved! Munster Veterans Open: 25th – 27th March The Munster Veterans’ Open will be held in Sunday’s Well Boating & Tennis Club from Friday, 25th March until Sunday, 27th March. Santa Meet & Greet 2021
We had a special visitor to the club today, and it was absolutely great, a huge thank you to Mags & Fiona and all their team who did a wonderful job preparing for the visit. Of course, a giant thank you to Santa himself for taking the time to come to the club, we know he is a very busy man at the moment! Presentation to Michael on his retirement
This week, Club Chairman, Mr John O’ Sullivan accompanied by the Club Trustees and staff made a presentation to Mr Michael Spillane who recently retired. Michael was Club Steward for Sunday’s Well for 29 years from 1991 – 2020. Michael arrived at Sunday’s Well with considerable experience as was outlined in this Irish Examiner profile in 2016. Sunday's Well is Going Green
In recent months, we have been working to make our club a more environmentally friendly club. LEDs have been put in place in a number of areas around the club and compostable cups and paper straws are have been in the use in the bar for some time. From April, the club will also be removing the use of single-use plastic cups and so it will no longer be providing the plastic cups by the water fountain so members are asked to bring their own reusable bottles and cups going…
New club activities coming soon...
The Social Committee is now organising a number of new group activities, in particular, the following activities are proposed and expressions of interest are now being sought. Book Club Walking Group Pewsey Trip – Interested Members (of all tennis ability) are invited to take part in a return invitation trip to Pewsey LTC in UK late April/early May 2020. Christmas Cracker 2019
